Career

Fermin played for Letran Squire in high school and for UP Fighting Maroons in college.^{[1] [2]}

Fermin served as head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons for interim basis in 2015.^{[3] [4]} After serving for senior's team head coach, he was demoted^[5] and served as head coach for women's team from 2016 to 2017,^{[6] [7]} and later with the Baby Falcons, junior's team.

He steered Baby Falcons into championship in 2023.^[8]
