Migas secundus is a species of Mygalomorph spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]
This species was described in 1968 by Cecil Wilton from a single female specimen collected in Banks Peninsula. The holotype is stored in Canterbury Museum.
The female is recorded at 11.7mm in length. The carapace and legs are orange brown. The abdomen is grey with a dark medial band dorsally.
This species is only recorded from Kaituna Valley in Banks Peninsula, New Zealand.
Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
