Michael Smith (born January 13, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back.[1] He played most recently with MLS Next Pro side Rochester New York FC.

Career

Smith played collegiate soccer for the Winthrop Eagles, playing 58 games and scoring 2 goals across 4 seasons.[2]

Smith signed his first professional contract with Faroese club Argja Bóltfelag ahead of the 2022 season. He then signed with MLS Next Pro independent club Rochester New York FC on August 4, 2022.[3] After making just 2 appearances, he was released by Rochester at the end of the season.[4]
