Michael Boireau (born July 24, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.[2] Boireau was selected by the Vikings in the second round of the 2000 NFL draft, and played there for two seasons.[3] [4]
Boireau had a rare neuromuscular disorder called ocular myasthenia gravis.[5] As a result of this condition and other injuries, he never played a down in a regular season NFL game.
