Mexico is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This will be Mexico's 19th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 1951.
Taekwondo athlete Carlos Sansores and basketball player Karina Esquer were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[1] Meanwhile, basque pelota athlete Isaac Pérez and archer Alejandra Valencia were the country's flagbearers during the closing ceremony.
