Melanella chariessa explained
Melanella chariessa is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Eulimidae. The species is one of many species known to exist within the genus, Melanella.[1] [2]
Distribution
This species occurs in the following locations:[1]
- North West Atlantic
- United Kingdom Exclusive Economic Zone
Description
The maximum recorded shell length is 5.6 mm.[3]
Habitat
Minimum recorded depth is 3229 m.[3] Maximum recorded depth is 3834 m.[3]
