Megalomus carpenteri explained

Megalomus carpenteri is a species of brown lacewing in the family Hemerobiidae. It is found in North America. The specific epithet carpenteri honors paleoentomologist Frank M. Carpenter for his taxonomic work on the Neuroptera.[1] [2]
