Medina is a census-designated place (CDP) in Zapata County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,935 at the 2010 census.[3]

The racial makeup of the CDP was 81.96% White, 0.30% African American, 0.41% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 14.80% from other races, and 2.30% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 93.5% of the population.
There were 797 households, of which 63.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.8% were married couples living together, 15.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 11.3% were non-families. 10.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
