Mecistocephalus tsenapus explained

Mecistocephalus tsenapus is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family. It was described in 1944 by American myriapodologist Ralph Vary Chamberlin.[1] This species is light brown, has 49 pairs of legs, and can reach 16 mm in length.

Distribution

The species occurs in New Guinea. The type locality is the Tsenap Hills, upper Sepik River, Papua New Guinea.[1]
