Mecistocephalus hebrides explained
Mecistocephalus hebrides is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family. It was described in 1944 by American myriapodologist Ralph Vary Chamberlin.[1]
Description
This species is brownish, can reach about 62 mm in length, and has 49 pairs of legs.
Distribution
The species occurs in Vanuatu. The type locality is Hog Harbour on the island of Espiritu Santo.[1]
