Muhammad Abu Sayed Siddique Explained

Md. Abu Sayed Siddique is a major general of the Bangladesh Army who served as the master general of ordnance.[1] [2] He served as chairman of Jolshiri Abashon.[3] [4]

Career

In 2018, Siddique inaugurated Qirat and Azan competition at the Air Force Central Jame Masjid as chief guest.[5] He was master general of ordnance of the Bangladesh Army.[6] He oversaw the establishment of the Ordnance Museum Complex.[7] As master general of ordnance, he worked on stationing QW missiles and Type 15 tanks in Ramu Cantonment, Cox's Bazar.[8]

Siddique was a member of the board of trustees of Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology.[9] He was chairperson of the Jolshiri Abashon military housing project. He signed an agreement with Bashundhara Group over the project on 2 September 2020.[10] Bashundhara Group provided 2,600 bighas to Jolshiri Abashon.

Siddique visited Sylhet to distribute aid under Chief of Army Staff General S. M. Shafiuddin Ahmed and Major General Hamidul Haque among people affected by flooding.[11] [12]

Siddique is an advisor of Governance Policy Explorer Center.[13]

Personal life

Siddique is married to Taslim Jahan.[14]
