The Mazda EZ-6 is a mid-size car (D-segment) produced by Mazda through its joint venture, Changan Mazda in China since 2024. Available with a pure battery electric powertrain or as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), the EZ-6 is co-developed with Changan Automobile, and uses the same EPA platform used by the Deepal SL03 liftback. The EZ-6 will also be available in the European market, as Mazda confirmed in August 2024.[1] [2]
The EZ-6 was introduced at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024.[3] It will go on sale in mid-2024 with an option of battery electric powertrain and extended-range EV (EREV).[4] [5] [6] The battery electric model has an estimated electric range of 6000NaN0 under CLTC standards. It is claimed to have a 50-50 weight distribution.[7]
The EZ-6 is equipped with a 14.6-inch central screen, powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip to integrate the control of air conditioning, seats, entertainment and other functions. It is also equipped with a 14-speaker Sony sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, front "zero-gravity" seats, and a glass roof.[8]
