Mauricio Vidal is a Colombian cinematographer.[1]
Vidal began his career in cinematography after studying Social Media at the university in Bogotá and working as an editor on a documentary travel show.[2] He worked as a 2nd unit cinematographer on Narcos Season 1, which was filmed in Colombia. Vidal used the Red Epic camera and Zeiss Ultra Prime lenses for the series. His role as a camera operator on Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan provided him with experience in managing high-pressure situations and complex logistics.
Vidal's influences include cinematographers such as Darius Khondji and Seamus McGarvey.
