Maude Marquis-Bissonnette is a Canadian university professor and politician who is the Mayor of Gatineau, having taking office on June 18, 2024, after being elected in the 2024 Gatineau mayoral by-election.[1] She is be the first mayor of modern Gatineau to be elected in a by-election and the first since Guy Lacroix's by-election victory in 1994 following the resignation of Robert Labine.
