Matisse Didden (born 8 October 2001) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a central defender for FC Utrecht.[1]
He is from As, Belgium. He was still a student at Stedelijke Humaniora Dilsen and a youth player Patro Eisden Maasmechelen when on 10 March 2018, at the age of 16, he made his debut in the club's first team in a league match against FCV Dender EH.[2]
He moved to KRC Genk in 2018. On 8 March 2022, this contract was extended until the summer of 2025.[3] On 27 August 2022, Didden made his debut in Genk's first team in a 4-0 league away win against RFC Seraing.[4]
In the summer of 2023, Didden signed a two-season contract with Roda JC.[5] He made his debut on 11 August against Helmond Sport in a 4-1 victory.[6] During the season, he was captain of Roda for a number of matches. In the summer of 2024 he transferred from Roda JC to FC Utrecht signing a four-year contract.[7] [8]
He made his debut in the Eredivisie for Utrecht against PEC Zwolle on 11 August 2024.[9] [10]
