Martin Ketteridge (born 2 October 1964) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at representative level for Scotland, and at club level for Moorends ARLFC (in Thorne, South Yorkshire), Castleford (two spells), the Sheffield Eagles and Halifax, as a, or .[2] [3] [4] [5]

Playing career

International honours

Martin Ketteridge won 3 caps (plus 1 as a substitute) for Scotland in 1996 while at Halifax.[1]

Challenge Cup Final appearances

Martin Ketteridge played at and scored a goal in Castleford's 15-14 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1986 Challenge Cup Final during the 1985–86 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 3 May 1986,[6] and played at, and scored 2-goals in the 12-28 defeat by Wigan in the 1992 Challenge Cup Final during the 1991–92 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 2 May 1992, in front of a crowd of 77,386.[7]
