Marco Antonio Rodrigues Henriques (born 8 August 1960), better known as Marquinho Carioca, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
Scorer of the 1982 Campeonato Carioca title goal for Vasco da Gama, Marquinho stood out for his physical intensity, capable of running throughout the match without tiring.[1] He also played for Flamengo, where he was champion in 1986,[2] for Atlético Mineiro, Coritiba, Fluminense and Internacional.[3] [4]
Marquinho played for the Brazil under-20 team in 1981, champion of the Toulon Tournament.[5]
