Marion Township was established in 1837.[4]
Marion Township covers an area of 48.26sqmi and contains one incorporated settlement, Easton. It contains eight cemeteries: Blakely, Bowen, Courtney, Kessler, Minor, Moxley, Saint Josephs and Saint Marys.
