Makhdoom Explained

Makhdoom Ansari (Arabic: مخدوم, meaning one who is served and sometimes spelled Makhdum, Bengali: মখদুম|Mokhdum Ansari) is an Arabic word meaning "Teacher of Sunnah." It is a title for Pirs, in South and Central Asia.
