The Maison Centrale de Conakry is a federal prison in the republic of Guinea located in Conakry, in the commune of Kaloum.
Built during the colonial period, the establishment has, since 1984, been under the governance of the Ministry of Justice of Guinea.[3]
After the Coup d'état of 5 September 2021, the CNRD freed 79 political prisoners.[4]
The Maison centrale de Conakry consists of 3 main buildings : one for convicts, one for defendants and the main hall.[3]
