Mahārāja Kam Dév Singh Misir Urf Karam Singh (b.1438-1532) was a Kanyakubja Brahmin king[1] and the ruler of the Pahargarh Estate, which mainly comprised what are now the cities of Morena, Gwalior, Jhansi, Shivpuri. Kam Dev was the son of Maharaja Jay Raj Dev Singh Misir who was the ruler of the Vijaypur Sikri estate (Fatehpur Sikri).

Kāmdéva and Dhāmdéva ruled over a large area which consisted of present day Mōrénā, Gwālior, Jhānsi, Ṭikamgarh, Sāgar, Chatarpur, Satna, Rewa, Chitrakooṭ, Fatéhpur, Kānpur(Dehat&City), Unnāō, Auraiyā, Jālaun, Dhaulpur, Bāndā, Mahōbā, Śivapuri, Gauna, Śeōpur, Vijayapur Sikri, Khérāgarh, Bhind, Kannauj & Itwah (or an area of almost 124,765 km²)
