Maha Al-Saleh Explained
Maha Al-Saleh (Arabic: ; 1945–2008) was a Syrian actress and director, her career began in the early 1960s.
Early life
Born in Jableh, Latakia, she belonged to a Alawite family.
Career
She started her career in 1963 with the Syrian Television's Dramatic Arts Group. Later, she became an actress and director, specializing in monodrama, at the Syrian National Theater.[1]
She won awards internationally like the Lady with the Dog Award in Moscow and the Best Actress Award at the Mediterranean Festival in Italy.[2]
Personal life
She married Assaad Feddah and they had a son named Majd. She is the sister-in-law of poets Muhammad al-Maghut and Adunis.[3]
She died in Damascus at the age of 63.[4]
