Madhira railway station (station code:MDR) is located in the town of Madhira in the Khammam district[1] of the Indian state of Telangana. The station has an elevation of 58 meters above sea level and is categorized as NSG-5 (Non-Suburban Grade-5). It is a part of the South Central Railway[2] network and falls under the Secunderabad railway division.[3] [4] The station is situated on the Kazipet-Vijayawada section of the New Delhi-Chennai main line and is an important halt for several express and passenger trains. The station code of Madhira railway station is "MDR". The station has two platforms and serves 29 halting trains. However, there are no trains that originate or terminate at this station.[5]
