Mad Company is an Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama web series written and directed by Vignesh Vijaykumar. It is produced by Raja Ramamurthy for Aha. The eight-episode series starring Prasanna, Kaniha, Dhanya Balakrishna and S.P. Charan.[1] It premiered on Aha on 30 September 2022.[2]
AK is a passionate actor and a renowned movie star. After being banned from acting in films, he found "mad company" which provides emotional service to clients who need it. Amaran, AK's nemesis, who owns a news channel, commands his team that tarnishing mad company's reputation is their only goal. Whether AK was able to overcome the sinister plans crafted by Amaran forms the crux of the story.
Mad Company received mostly mixed reviews. Harini SV of Film Companion wrote "Dhanya Balakrishna, Kaniha and SPB Charan make up quite an impressive cast, but it is Prasanna who does most of the heavy lifting with his charm."[3] A critic from OTTplay gave a rating of 3.5 out of 5 and added that "Many of the scenarios come across as a tad predictable, but nevertheless are a fun ride."[4]
