Mac Intox Explained

The Mac Intox (English: [[intoxicate]]) is a Czech single-place paraglider that was designed by Peter Recek and produced by Mac Para Technology of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, starting in 2003. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The aircraft was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.[1]

Variants

Intox 22
  • Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 11.341NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 22.06m2, 63 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.83:1. The pilot weight range is 65to.[1]
    Intox 25
  • Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.061NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 24.98m2, 63 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.83:1. The pilot weight range is 70to. The glider model is DHV 2 certified.[1]
    Intox 28
  • Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.741NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 27.85m2, 63 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.83:1. The pilot weight range is 85to. The glider model is DHV 2 certified.[1]
    Intox 30
  • Extra large-sized model for even heavier pilots. Its 13.261NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 30.18m2, 63 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.83:1. The pilot weight range is 98to. The glider model is DHV 2 certified.[1]
