Ménil-Froger (in French pronounced as /menil fʁɔɡe/) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Le Brûle,La Croix Fanchon, La Bessière and Ménil-Froger.[2]
The Commune is one of 30 communes that make up the Natura 2000 protected area of Bocages et vergers du sud Pays d'Auge.[3] The site is 21,541 hectares in size and consists of a well-preserved wooded landscape that hosts three protected beetles, the European stag beetle, the great capricorn beetle and the Hermit Beetle.[4]
The commune has two rivers, The Dieuge and The Ure flowing through its borders, plus a stream, The Bouillonnay.
Logis de Ménil-Froger a 15th century manor house that was listed as a Monument historique in 2000.[5]
