Lumley Branch Explained

Lumley Branch is a stream in Dade County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Sac River.[1]

The stream headwaters arise just north of U.S. Route 160 east of Everton at 37.3431°N -93.67°W and it flows north approximately five miles to join the Sac River northwest of the community of Comet at 37.4147°N -93.6553°W.[1]

Lumley Branch most likely was named after William Lumley, an early settler.[2]
