Luleman (Persian: لولمان) is a city in Kuchesfahan District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Luleman Rural District.[2]

History

In 2009, the village of Pir Bast-e Luleman in Luleman Rural District was elevated to the status of the city of Luleman. After the 2011 National Census, the city merged with the villages of Chelak, Karbasdeh, Mobarakabad, Rashtabad, and Rudbaraki.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 census, Pir Bast-e Luleman's population was 3,175 in 907 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,558 people in 1,215 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of Luleman as 2,677 households.[6]
