"Love On" is a song by American singer Selena Gomez. It was released as a standalone single on February 22, 2024, through Interscope Records.
Background
Gomez released the standalone single "Single Soon" on August 25, 2023, a "fun little song" to celebrate "the end of summer".[1] Four months later, on December 7, Gomez revealed that her forthcoming studio album was slated for a release in February 2024.[2] In January 2024, she announced that she only has "one more album in" her as she prefers acting, if someone asked her to pick between the two.[3] On February 14, Gomez posted a link to a heart-shaped lock with a passcode "222", alluding to the release date of the single.[4] She announced "Love On" the following day through her social media.[5]
