Loud 'n' Proud is the fourth studio album by the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth, and their second to be released in 1973. The album was produced by Deep Purple's bassist Roger Glover.

Background

This album reached 10th place in the UK Albums Chart, making it the best-ranked group's album and even the first place in the Austrian charts. In 1976, it will be certified as a platinum record in Canada for every 100,000 copies sold.

The single, a repeat of Joni Mitchell's title, "This Flight Tonight", will reach 11th place in the UK charts and rank first in the German charts. Joni Mitchell, who recorded this song in 1971 for her album Blue, was very impressed by this rerun and she sometimes presented this song at concerts as a Nazareth song.[2]
