Lou Paskalis is an advertising industry executive.[1] He is the Chief Strategy Officer of news media accountablity company Ad Fontes Media as well as Founder and CEO of his own marketing consulting firm, AJL Advisory LLC.
Paskalis has an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in business management from the University of Notre Dame.
Paskalis has been in marketing since 1990. He is known for his vocal stance on industry concerns, such as privacy, media accountability and brand-safety on social media. In 2023 he was named Chief Strategy officer of Ad Fontes Media. Prior to Ad Fontes Media, Paskalis was President and COO of industry trade association MMA Global starting in 2021.[2] [3] Prior to MMA Global, he was Senior Vice President of Customer Engagement and Media Investment at Bank of America, starting in 2013 where he also oversaw Marketing Data Enablement, Marketing Data Use Governance and established the first Brand Safety and Suitability practice among the Fortune 500. Prior to Bank of America he was Vice President of Global Media, Content Development and Mobile Marketing at American Express.[4] In the 1990s, Paskalis ran Media Investment and Sponsorship Marketing for Gallo Wines.[5]
In 2022, Paskalis was temporarily blocked on Twitter after he criticized Elon Musk's decision to cut staff on content moderation.[6]
