Longquan, Xintian Explained
Longquan Town is a town and the county seat in the central Xintian County, Hunan, China. The town was reformed through the amalgamation of 28 villages of 6 towns and townships to it on November 20, 2015,[1] it has an area of 203.49km2 with a population of 118,600 (as of 2015 end). Its seat is at Zhongshan Community .[2]

- On November 20, 2015, 4 villages of the former Lianhua Township, 3 villages of Dapingtang Town, 3 villages of the former Maojia Township, 12 villages of the former Maoli Township, 5 villages of the former Lengshuijing Township and Liufangqiao Village of Jicun Town were merged to Longquan Town.
