List of storms named Tina explained
The name Tina has been used for two tropical cyclones in the NortheasternPacific, one in the WesternPacific, one in the Australianregion, and one in the SouthPacific.
In the NortheasternPacific:
- Hurricane Tina (1992) – a Category4 hurricane that became the longest-lived Pacifichurricane at the time
- Tropical Storm Tina (2016) – maintained tropical characteristics for only 30 hours
In the WesternPacific:
- Typhoon Tina (1997) (T9711, 12W, Huling) – affected the Ryukyu Islands and SouthKorea
In the Australianregion:
- Cyclone Tina (1990) – affected Western Australia
In the SouthPacific:
- Cyclone Tina (1974) – a Category2 tropical cyclone
