This is a list of ski descents of eight-thousanders (which are the 14 highest peaks in the world that are over 8000abbr=offNaNabbr=off in elevation).[1] Such feats are part of the sport of ski mountaineering, and also related to the sport of extreme skiing. The first descents can be traced to the 1970s.
