See main article: List of shipwrecks of Cornwall (19th century). The List of shipwrecks of Cornwall (1861–1870) lists the ships which sank on or near the coasts of mainland Cornwall in that period. The list includes ships that sustained a damaged hull, which were later refloated and repaired.
