This is a list of rural localities in Chechnya. Chechnya (; Russian: Чечня́|Chechnyá|p=tɕɪˈtɕnʲa; Chechen: Нохчийчоь,), officially the Chechen Republic (; Russian: Чече́нская Респу́блика|Chechénskaya Respúblika|p=tɕɪˈtɕɛnskəjə rʲɪˈspublʲɪkə; Chechen: Нохчийн Республика,), is a federal subject (a republic) of Russia. It is a Federal Subject of Russia located in the North Caucasus, and within 100km (100miles) of the Caspian Sea.[1] The capital of the republic is the city of Grozny.
