Built by MÁVAG, and later by Ganz–MÁVAG. MÁVAG delivered 56 units between the end of 1957 and September 1958. Because of severe engine failures ENR temporarily halted the takeover of the rest of the units, until Ganz–MÁVAG redesigned the engine and replaced it on the already delivered units. Hungarian State Railways bought 6 units from ENR in late 1958. ENR later gave 5 units to the Helwan steel works.[7] 1957–September 1958
