The MiG-17 was produced under license in Poland. In any case, in the end, these aircraft, including modifications of existing aircraft, remained in service. All were retired shortly after the 1990s. In addition, most of the aircraft were not exported to other countries. The aircraft that survived dismantling are still on display at museums in various regions. It is also painted so it does not look obsolete.
