List of national capitals situated on an international border explained

This is a list of capital cities of sovereign states that share a border with another sovereign state.

One of two capitals to border two sovereign states.[1] The border runs partly through the Danube, but swings west to include lands on the right bank of the river in Bratislava. The area the border runs through is rural. There are multiple rail and road links to both Austria and Hungary.
