List of churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus explained

This is a list of churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus.^[1] The diocese divides the parishes occupying these church buildings into deaneries for administrative purposes.^[2]

Saint Mary of the Assumption Church			Columbus	684 S 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43206	Gothic Revival	Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church is the third oldest church building in Columbus.^[7] The church spire towers 197 feet (60 m) above street level making it a prominent landmark and the tallest building in the historic German Village neighborhood south of downtown Columbus.^[8] With the rest of German Village, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 30, 1974. It is also an Ohio historical site.^[9]
Saint Patrick Church			Columbus	280 N Grant Ave, Columbus, OH	Norman Gothic Revival	Saint Patrick Church is the second-oldest Catholic church building in Columbus.^[10] The structure served as the pro-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus until the consecration of Saint Joseph Cathedral. It has been served by priests of the Dominican Order since 1885.^[11]

It is the 91st minor basilica in the United States, the seventh in Ohio, and the first in the Diocese of Columbus.^[25]
