The Slovak ambassador in Washington, D. C. is the official representative of the Government in Bratislava to the Government of the United States.

  • From 1994 to 1998 he was at the Slovak Mission to NATO in Brussels.
  • From 1992 to 2001 he was Director General at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the accession process of the Ministry of Defense to NATO and let to Slovakia's invitation to join the Alliance at the 2002 Prague summit.
  • From February 2001 to he was State Secretary (Deputy Minister) of Defense of the Slovak Republic in Washington, DC.
  • In October 2013 he became Slovak Ambassador to Hungary.[1]
