MR Established February 9, 1943 by General Charles de Gaulle awarded to individuals who participated in actions against the Axis powers on French soil.
MC Military CrossThe Military Cross is the third-level military decoration and is awarded in recognition of "an act or acts of exemplary gallantry during active operations against the enemy on land to all members, of any rank in Our Armed Forces…"
ST Instituted July 8, 1943 and awarded for 180 days of operational service or 60 days of operational flying in WWII.
T SOE (Special Operations Executive) operations in Belgium

WM Instituted on August 16, 1945, and issued to subjects of the British Commonwealth who served full-time in the Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy for at least 28 days between September 3, 1939, and September 2, 1945.
