List of Places of Scenic Beauty of Japan (Gifu) explained

This list is of the Places of Scenic Beauty of Japan located within the Prefecture of Gifu.^[1]

National Places of Scenic Beauty

As of 28 February 2024, eight Places have been designated at a national level; Kiso River spans the prefectural borders with Aichi and is a serial designation spanning twelve prefectures.^{[2] [3] [4]}

Municipal Places of Scenic Beauty

As of 1 May 2023, fifty-six Places have been designated at a municipal level.^[6]

Registered Places of Scenic Beauty

As of 1 February 2024, one Monument has been registered (as opposed to designated) as a Place of Scenic Beauty at a national level.^{[7] [8]}
