List of Inocybe species explained

Inocybe is a large genus of mushroom-producing fungi in the order Agaricales. The genus is widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere., Index Fungorum accepts 848 species in Inocybe. As of 2023, it is estimated that there are 1050 species in this genus.[1]
