  8. Brisbane were awarded a free kick for holding the ball seconds before the final siren, with Greta Bodey to take the kick from roughly 40 metres out on a slight angle. The ball was touched in the goal square by a Melbourne player a few meters short of the goal line and went through for only one point, giving the win to Melbourne.
  9. Kearney was paid a free kick in the dying seconds of the game 60 meters out from goal, but her kick after the siren fell well short.
