Lisowice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pawonków, within Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5km (03miles) south-east of Pawonków, 60NaN0 west of Lubliniec, and 540NaN0 north-west of the regional capital Katowice.

Abundant skeletons of the Upper Triassic tetrapods (i.e., large dicynodonts, dinosaurs) were described from the clay pit located between Lisowice and Lipie Śląskie.[2]
