Levier (in French pronounced as /ləvje/) is a commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. On 1 January 2017, the former commune of Labergement-du-Navois was merged into Levier.[2]
Levier is located 20km (10miles) from Pontarlier, 45km (28miles) from Besançon, and 14km (09miles) from the TGV station at Frasne.
The economy is based on forestry.
