Peter Lee Ka-kit, GBM, GBS, JP, L.d'H. (born 1963), is a businessman and philanthropist from Hong Kong. Son of real estate tycoon and majority owner of Henderson Land Development Lee Shau-kee, he is Chairman of Henderson Land, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited and Towngas Smart Energy Company Limited, as well as Vice Chairman of Henderson Investment Limited. He is currently a Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute, and Honorary President of the Hong Kong China Friendship Association.
Born in Hong Kong in 1963, with family roots in Shunde, Guangdong, China. He was admitted to St. Paul's Primary School in 1969.
He graduated from the Computer Science Department of the University of Keele in 1977.
In 1985, he joined his father's company Henderson Land as Executive Director, focusing on its mainland China business.
In addition to helming the mainland China business of Henderson Land, Lee has a passion for environmental innovation and creating a better world for future generations. In 2010, he founded Full Vision Capital, an investment vehicle dedicated to green-economy ventures to steer humanity towards a greener and more sustainable future. In 2021, he launched the TERA-Award Smart Energy Innovation Competition (TERA-Award) to advance the development of a green economy by developing technologies and solutions with the potential to transform the energy industry.
