Lectionary 81, designated by siglum ℓ 81 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament, on vellum leaves. Palaeographically it has been assigned to the 14th-century.[1]
The codex contains lessons from the Gospels of John, Matthew, Luke lectionary (Evangelistarium) with some lacunae. It is written in Greek minuscule letters, on 197 parchment leaves . The writing stands in 2 columns per page, 22 lines per page.[2] Some passages were supplied in the 15th century on cotton parer.[2]
The manuscript probably was written in Egypt.[3] Scholz examined major part of it. It was examined and described by Paulin Martin.[4] C. R. Gregory saw it in 1885.
The manuscript is not cited in the critical editions of the Greek New Testament (UBS3).[5]
Currently the codex is located in the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 305) in Paris.
