Le Mêle-sur-Sarthe (in French pronounced as /lə mɛl syʁ saʁt/, literally Le Mêle on Sarthe) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France. It is the commune with the smallest area in the Orne, covering an area of 0.62 km ².^[2]

The commune is listed as a Village étape.^{[3] [4]}
